Scholarships

 

    
 

The Community Foundation offers many scholarships.

 
    
 

Scholarships

The following is a list of scholarships that the Foundation manages, though it does not participate in the selection process:
  1. Charlie Due Baseball Scholarship - for graduates of Champaign Central High School who have also played baseball for Champaign Central High School and who have committed themselves to pursuance of outstanding citizenship, human relations, and a competitive desire as exemplified by Charlie Due.
  2. Ida Haack Scholarship -for graduates of Mahomet-Seymour who have demonstrated academic excellence during their high school careers and who are in need of financial assistance.
  3. Lucien and Christine Nesbitt Scholarship -for graduates who have committed themselves to pursuance of outstanding citizenship in the area of human relations and scholarship of Black students.
  4. James Sisk Scholarship -for graduates of local public high schools that have committed themselves to furthering their general education or specific training in any area.
  5. Pearl Sisk Scholarship -for hearing-impaired graduates of local public high schools who have committed themselves to furthering their general education or specific training in any area.

Applications are available at local public high schools. Please contact your guidance counselor if interested.
